Shrimp enterocytosis is an emerging disease of aquatic products. At present, the disease is prevalent in major shrimp farming areas in my country.
【pathogen】
The pathogen of the disease is Shrimp Enterocytoplasma, which belongs to the Kingdom of Fungi, Microsporophyte, Haplophase Class, Amphetreidae, and Enterobacteriaceae.
【Precaution】
(1) Use SPF broodstock for seed breeding; buy seed with negative results of pathogen quarantine.
(2) For disinfection of farms, ponds and aquaculture facilities, refer to Article (4) of Shrimp Virus Preventive Measures.
(3) Encourage high-density temporary management of larvae for 15 to 30 days by using the standard method, and abandon and destroy the larvae or juveniles with positive pathogen test results before and after the standard.
(4) The breeding pond can separate the feed from the shrimp feces by means of "shrimp toilets", water flow and feeding and discharge management, so as to avoid shrimp ingesting feces and reduce the risk of feces contaminating shrimp feed and water bodies.
(5) There is a risk of spreading E. hepatobacteria in shrimp fed with chilled feed. Commercial feed is recommended for breeding.
【Control measures】
(1) If the prawns are found to have signs of disease, the samples should be immediately sent to the aquatic animal disease testing laboratory above the county or city level or a qualified laboratory for testing. The farms diagnosed with shrimp enterocytosis should immediately take isolation measures for the relevant shrimp ponds, restrict the movement and transportation of the diseased shrimps in the farms, fish out the diseased shrimps in time, and use the deep burial method or the corpse method for harmless treatment.
(2) Shrimp excrement can be removed in time by discharging multiple times a day and replenishing a small amount of water after each discharge.
(3) Mix and feed beneficial bacteria in the feed.
